Heal experiences that still weigh on your present
EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps you process disturbing memories, reduce their emotional impact, and regain your well-being.
What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an internationally recognized therapeutic approach for treating trauma and other adverse experiences. It uses bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements—to help the brain reprocess memories that were stored in a dysfunctional way.
When we experience overwhelming events, the brain can get "stuck" on those memories, causing them to continue to surface in the present through flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety, or intense physical sensations. EMDR helps these memories integrate in a healthy way.

How does it work?
Bilateral stimulation helps both hemispheres of the brain communicate, allowing traumatic information to be processed naturally and lose its negative emotional charge.
Benefits of EMDR
An effective, structured therapy that respects your pace.
Process difficult memories
It helps the brain reprocess disturbing experiences so that they stop causing intense distress.
Reduces trauma symptoms
It reduces the impact of flashbacks, nightmares, hypervigilance, and avoidance associated with painful experiences.
It does not require discussing details
It is not necessary to describe the traumatic event in detail for the treatment to be effective.
Encourage self-compassion
It promotes a more adaptive view of oneself and lived experience, reducing feelings of guilt or shame.

02
Assessment
We select the disturbing memory or belief to work on and evaluate the associated imagery, cognition, and sensations.
03
Desensitization
Through bilateral stimulation (visual, auditory or tactile), we help your brain to process the experience in an adaptive way.
04
Installation and closure
We strengthen positive beliefs about yourself and close the session safely so you feel stable.
